This house is now owned by Chris Grosjean but was once the home of the Welz family with their five girls around my age. In case you are wondering, there is no longer snow in Norfolk, the Maple Avenue photos were all taken on the same day during the winter. One advantage of winter shots is you can see through the trees. In this case you can see my house, the gray one in the back. For my early childhood I played more with the Welz family than any other children, but that stretches too far back into a fuzzy part of my memory. They later moved to the corner house on Emerson Street, now owned by Tom Hodgins and Barbara Spiegel, but have since grown up and dispersed. I believe many are still in Connecticut.
