You have been given fair warning over the past few months. My book, Systems out of Balance: How Misinformation Hurts the Middle Class, is now available for order at the following web site: www.systemsoutofbalance.com. In a week or two it will be available at Amazon, but I receive less than $2 per book if you get it from there.
For the next few days I will be overhauling this web site to accomodate this new “phase.” This post will be the one you see for awhile, though I will make edits here to let you know what has recently changed. The first change will be the elimination of the essay downloads and lyric downloads features, to be replaced by a “Restoring Balance Products and Services” feature. “Essay 22 – The UnEnlightenment” will still be available for download. Other available downloads will be essays that I have changed, updated, added, etc. since publication.
Lyrics will no longer be available for download, but a Play List of the songs I have composed to go along with the themes of the book will remain. I have been rehearsing with a keyboardist and percussionist and at some point this summer we will record. When that happens the songs will be rotated as podcasts that you can hear on this site. Other features from “Restoring Balance Products and Services” will be a media kit that includes some informative handouts, and some workshop and presentation information that will be added over time.
The presentation features are where I am currently heading. For the next year I will be promoting the book (and, more importantly, the message) throughout the Northeast. I then intend to do a tour that involves walking across country and speaking to community organizations (libraries, Grange Halls, churches, community associations, colleges, etc.). I have a variety of promotional approaches planned: concerts, workshops, retreats and even normal speaking engagements. Please spread the work about Systems out of Balance and the corresponding Restoring Balance promotional phase. I can be contacted for engagements at systemsoutofbalance@middleclassforum.org.
