During our trip to Germany to visit Sarina Kreplin and her family, our hosts graciously brought us to the Dolomites of the Italian Alps, knowing about our passion for hiking. Cindy and I would walk from the front door of our condo and end up on top of the Latemar and Rosengarten ranges.

This is the view of the Latemar range from near our condo. Our last hike involved walking out our front door and going to the top of this peak.
This is a view of the Rosengarten range from near our condo. Both of our hikes in this range started by going up to the Coronelle Pass. One hike then looped south, the other looped north.
